Kathleen Galbraith, Sc.D.
is Director of the undergraduate Health Systems Management
Program at the University of Baltimore. She has been instrumental
in developing and implementing this new Bachelor of Science program in
which over 100 students are currently enrolled. She received her doctorate
from Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health. She
has presented her research at numerous conferences including the American
Public Health Association and the American Lung Association. She graduated
from Villanova University with a B.S. in nursing and earned her
M.S. at the University of Delaware. She taught for several years
at the University of Maryland, School of Nursing. She also
worked for 15 years for the Maryland state government directing several
Research Offices at the Maryland State Department of Human Resources,
with responsibilities including maximization of Federal funding for state
programs. She has substantial expertise with state financial expenditures
for various service programs.
