The Society sponsors international workshops, symposia and conferences to provide opportunities for networking and collaboration in research, case studies, demonstration projects, simulations and other types of theoretical or applied policy and practice analyses.

The Society actively supports the integration of professional and scholarly interests, and offers leadership opportunities in special interest sections, international regions, its committee structure, and through participation on the Editorial Advisory Board for RHFM.
