History

The international society for Research in Healthcare Financial Management, Ltd. began in 1994 as an informal interdisciplinary network of professionals that bridged leading organizations throughout the world. By the end of 1998 the network had grown to the point where it was formally organized under the laws of the State of Maryland as a non-stock, non-profit corporation, and was approved as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c) 3 of the US Internal Revenue Code. The Society continues to grow and advance its mission, establishing the highest level of quality in every aspect of its programs, publications and services.
